After fleeing their home, a family must survive in a world where creatures hunt by sound. With a newborn in tow, they seek shelter beyond familiar territory, while two family members pursue a possible way to help others fight back against dangers from creatures and other survivors.

My take

You’ll likely enjoy this if you want a tense survival story with strong performances and more action than the first film; Not for you if you need fresh scares or a sequel that surpasses its predecessor.
