A Desert Skiing Epic

Looking for ways to adapt to climate change and to develop resilience, a solidarity and sporting event is created by a french association: XCSS Climate Can’t Wait. This first edition in the Moroccan Sahara was an opportunity to learn from people in the desert area and to create a brand new sport: cross-country skiing on sand! This documentary follows the first steps of this long adventure.

My take

A feel-good adventure that celebrates human ingenuity in the face of climate crisis. This is for anyone inspired by unconventional solutions and the kind of solidarity that pushes boundaries—it's optimistic without being naive, grounded in real stakes.
