1000 KM Of Chaos

1000 km of Chaos is a feature documentary about an Arctic Ultra-Marathon Runner, Irishman Kevin Leahy, and what it takes to prepare for and complete two 500 km non-stop foot races in the Arctic, three weeks apart. Filmed over two years and limited by the pandemic, this test of body, mind and spirit takes place in some of the most beautiful, remote and harsh conditions in Ireland, The Yukon and Swedish Lapland.

A raw, unflinching portrait of human endurance that follows an Irish ultramarathon runner through two grueling 500km Arctic races. This is the kind of documentary that strips away comfort and expectation, leaving you confronting what it really means to push past your limits.
